GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics software for all levels of education that brings together geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus in one engine.

In today's session, sir has taught us how to draw equilateral triangle using GeoGebra app.

1. concept skills
  • A triangle with all three sides of equal length. All the angles are 60 degree.
2. Process skills- procedures
  • Step by step to construct equilateral triangle in GeoGebra.

👉 First click on GeoGebra icon from the desktop.

👉Draw two points A  and B using the New point tool.

👉Draw the line segment AB using thee segment between two points tool.

👉From A draw a circle through B using the circle with center through a point tool.

👉From B draw a circle through A using the circle with center through a point tool.

👉Find one intersection C of the two circle using the intersect two objects tool.

👉Draw the line segment AC and BC using the segment between two points tool.

We assign to create any shape  based on our own choice in GeoGebra with steps. So, I selected hexagon shape to create in GeoGebra. The following steps will show I have created hexagon shape in
GeoGebra

1. Concept skills
  • It has six sides and six angles. Lengths of all the sides and the measurement of all the angles are equal. Th total number of diagonals in a regular hexagon is 9. The sum of all interior angles is equal to 720 degrees, where each interior angle measures 120 degrees.

2. Process skills- Procedures

✍️ STEP 1

Draw a point A using the new point tool.

✍️ STEP 2

Draw a circle around point A and mark B on another point using the circle with the center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 3

Draw a circle from point B to A keeping point B as center using the circle with center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 4

From c, draw a circle through A using the circle with center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 5

From E, draw a circle through A using the circle with center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 6

From H, draw a circle through A using the circle with center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 7

From J, draw a circle through A using the circle with center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 8

From L, draw a circle through A using the circle with center through a point tool.

✍️ STEP 9

Draw the line segments BE, EH, HJ, JL, LC, and CB using the segment between two points tool.

✍️ STEP 10

Hide the circles by right clicking and deselecting show object.

Product: Exact shape of hexagon shape.
